This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Formulate and implement the growth strategy for Sciens' data centers, targeting hyperscale, colocation, cloud, AI, and enterprise customers.
• Oversee the Global Strategic Account Management initiative for data center clientele.
• Directly manage, mentor, and cultivate a high-achieving team focused on strategic accounts and business development.
• Establish executive-level connections with data center operators, developers, REITs, investment groups, and technology providers.
• Propel enterprise-wide sales enhancements across fire alarm, fire suppression, special hazards, security, inspections, testing, maintenance, and lifecycle services.
• Forge strategic alliances with contractors, engineering firms, commissioning agents, and design consultants.
• Champion significant pursuits, national agreements, and multi-site customer collaborations.
• Spot and assess emerging market opportunities, customer demands, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to guarantee successful project delivery and sustained customer satisfaction.
• Promote standardization within customer design criteria and preferred vendor initiatives.
• Represent Sciens at industry conferences, executive customer forums, and vital data center gatherings.
• Create strategic account plans and executive engagement initiatives.
• Develop pipeline management processes aimed at opportunity recognition, pursuit strategy, forecasting, and enhancing win rates.
• Coordinate growth strategies across various regional business units.
• Utilize market intelligence to discover expansion prospects.
• Encourage cooperation among sales, operations, service, engineering, and executive leadership teams.
• Set performance metrics and accountability standards to foster profitable growth.
• Mentor and nurture account leaders and business development professionals.
• Assist in acquisition integration efforts and forge strategic partnerships.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Over 15 years of experience in data centers, mission-critical infrastructure, fire protection, security, building technologies, or similar sectors.
• More than 10 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic sales, business development, account management, or operations.
• Proven track record in managing large enterprise accounts and cultivating executive customer relationships.
• In-depth understanding of the data center ecosystem, encompassing development, design, construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams in a multi-location context.
• Strong financial, strategic planning, and business management proficiency.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and executive presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively, as necessary.
• Established relationships with hyperscale providers, colocation operators, developers, EPC firms, and mission-critical contractors.
• Familiarity with fire alarm, fire suppression, clean agent systems, VESDA, security systems, and integrated life safety solutions.
• Knowledge of NFPA, FM Global, Uptime Institute, and mission-critical facility standards.
• Experience in negotiating national or global framework agreements.
• MBA or an advanced business degree is preferred.
