This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Build, lead, and enhance the global channel management capability for Bioscience & Medtech Products.
• Develop and implement BMP's global channel strategy.
• Establish a consistent operating model for channels, along with governance, procedures, and a performance framework.
• Act as the executive relationship leader and primary relationship owner for BMP's global VWR partnership.
• Facilitate joint business planning, growth initiatives, governance reviews, and issue resolution with VWR.
• Generate enterprise-wide visibility across distributors, dealers, resellers, and strategic partners.
• Document partner responsibilities, product portfolios, regional operating models, contractual frameworks, and market coverage.
• Collaborate with regional commercial leaders across North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and emerging markets.
• Evaluate market and channel opportunities, recommending investments, partnerships, and commercial initiatives.
• Oversee channel alignment, partner engagement, product placement, ownership, and risks associated with channel conflicts.
• Lead the resolution of complex channel-related challenges and establish formal escalation processes.
• Implement corrective actions and continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency and partner experience.
• Develop commercialization strategies specific to channels and go-to-market plans in collaboration with Product Management.
• Maximize market coverage, customer access, and revenue growth through channel partners.
• Lead collaborative business plans with strategic partners to achieve shared revenue goals and broaden market reach.
• Establish global KPIs, partner scorecards, executive dashboards, quarterly business reviews, revenue and profitability metrics, and performance reporting.
• Conduct regular business assessments and recommend actions to enhance partner performance.
• Build the long-term organizational structure, leadership capabilities, and resource model for Global Channel Management.
• Create a multi-year roadmap that expands channel management beyond the VWR partnership to include additional partners, channels, and end markets.
• Work in collaboration with Commercial, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, and Regional Business Leaders.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field is required.
• A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
• Advanced coursework or executive education in strategic management, commercial leadership, channel management, or organizational transformation is preferred.
• At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in channel management, commercial leadership, sales management, business development, strategic partnerships, or related functions.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience leading global, multi-region commercial organizations, channel programs, or strategic partner networks.
• Proven success in developing and implementing global channel strategies, operating models, and governance frameworks.
• Experience managing complex channel ecosystems, including distributors, resellers, dealers, strategic partners, and commercial alliances.
• A solid track record in building, transforming, or scaling channel management functions and operating structures within a growth-oriented organization.
• Significant experience in leading executive-level relationships with strategic channel partners and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experience in identifying and resolving channel conflicts while balancing customer, partner, and business objectives.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives that involve commercial, product management, operations, supply chain, finance, and executive leadership teams.
• Experience in formulating market expansion strategies and driving revenue growth through indirect sales channels.
• In-depth knowledge of global channel management principles, partner ecosystems, and indirect sales models.
• Strong understanding of channel governance, commercial agreements, partner enablement, and channel performance management.
• Exceptional systems-thinking ability to connect commercial, operational, and strategic objectives.
• Expertise in scalable business processes, operating frameworks, and governance structures.
• Ability to assess complex channel landscapes and identify strategic growth opportunities, performance gaps, and operational risks.
• Strong business acumen in analyzing revenue, profitability, market trends, channel effectiveness, and return on investment.
• Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Capability to lead through influence across highly matrixed, global organizations.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
