This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Provide comprehensive commercial leadership, driving sales and revenue expansion for Iron Mountain's North American Records & Information Management division.
• Spearhead all commercial and sales initiatives while managing business development operations and executing strategic plans.
• Direct bookings and revenue advancement for the Enterprise segment through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new opportunities.
• Lead the sales teams for Records & Information Management Accounts by establishing targets and managing portfolios.
• Create motivational resources and career advancement opportunities, ensuring the implementation of strategic growth approaches.
• Develop and execute segment strategies in collaboration with marketing, sales operations, and IST.
• Partner with marketing, sales enablement, and external consultants to comprehend customer requirements and craft distinct solutions.
• Ensure account strategies incorporate advanced scenario planning for customer strategies, product innovation, and M&A adaptations.
• Build, inspire, train, mentor, and cultivate a highly efficient commercial team.
• Foster a solution-selling culture and enhance customer relationships through opportunity identification and account planning.
• Evaluate business development strategies, quarterly business assessments, contracts, and reporting metrics.
• Establish deeper trust and engagement with senior and executive leadership.
• Represent the customer's voice to guarantee that service levels and expectations are fulfilled.
• Act as a senior liaison among sales, solutions, implementation, delivery, and customer support to address and resolve issues.
• Define customer service objectives and work requirements clearly.
• Ensure that contract standard procedures and Iron Mountain's sales processes are consistently applied.
• Maintain team best practices and deliver timely, high-quality management reports.
• Implement recruitment and training strategies and collaborate with HR on talent management initiatives.
• Encourage transparent communication across various functional areas.
• Collaborate with Finance to manage selling expenses within budgetary constraints.
• A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is mandatory.
• Proven experience managing a national or enterprise-level sales organization.
• A strong record of achieving and surpassing revenue and profit goals.
• Proficient in sales metrics and KPIs, including lead generation, appointment setting, pipeline development, sales velocity, sales forecasting, bookings-to-billings ratios, and closing ratios.
• Experience in selling and negotiating at the executive level within complex B2B sales cycles.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
• Proficient in CRM systems and computer applications.
• Executive presence with the ability to build and sustain formal and informal networks.
• Competence in talent and organizational development.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and exemplary executive communication abilities.
• Capability to navigate and work across a large global organization while managing ambiguity effectively.
