This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Define strategic priorities that are in line with revenue, margin, client value, and the growth objectives of the company.
• Discover opportunities to enhance revenue recovery capabilities, along with products, services, and client outcomes.
• Act as a senior subject matter expert and executive resource for Revenue Recovery and Denials.
• Take ownership of the strategy, financial performance, and operational execution of Zero Balance Recovery.
• Set targets for recovery, revenue, productivity, and profitability, ensuring that performance meets established goals.
• Enhance inventory identification, claim prioritization, workflows, payer strategies, staffing, and technology.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to increase automation, AI, analytics, and scalable Zero Balance capabilities.
• Align inventory, staffing, processes, and technology with financial objectives set for monthly, quarterly, and annual periods.
• Direct variance analysis and corrective action planning in collaboration with executive leadership and operational teams.
• Work alongside Finance on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business planning efforts.
• Ensure that new products, technologies, and processes are scalable and effectively implemented across the organization.
• Serve as an executive resource for key clients and strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with Sales and Client Success teams on retention, expansion, executive relationships, and new business opportunities.
• Lead the resolution of significant client issues and coordinate resources across various functions.
• Build and lead a high-performing Revenue Recovery and Denials organization.
• Establish the organizational structure, workforce plans, performance expectations, and succession strategies.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing leaders.
• Lead initiatives for organizational change, transformation, integration, and growth.
• Stay informed about HIPAA, healthcare revenue cycle operations, insurance billing, reimbursement, payer regulations, and provider contract language.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, training, and operational standards.
• Represent Revenue Recovery and Denials in executive leadership and cross-functional projects.
• Support strategic planning, acquisitions, integrations, and corporate initiatives.
• Perform additional duties that align with EnableComp’s strategic objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle, revenue recovery, denials, collections, hospital finance, managed care, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of senior leadership experience managing multiple teams, functions, products, or business lines.
• Proven experience in leading revenue recovery, denials, appeals, collections, Zero Balance, or related healthcare financial operations.
• Proficiency in revenue forecasting, budgeting, profitability, and margin management.
• Experience in developing and executing strategies that enhance revenue, recovery, and profitability.
• Capability to lead large, complex organizations through managers and senior leaders.
• Experience in cross-functional partnerships with Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, Client Success, and Operations teams.
• Strong understanding of hospital revenue cycles, payer behavior, reimbursement methodologies, healthcare financials, and provider contract language.
• Excellent analytical, strategic, communication, problem-solving, and executive leadership skills.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel 0–20% as business needs dictate.
