πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Formulate and implement Montera's long-term operational strategy for a swiftly expanding hyperscale data center portfolio.

β€’ Build and guide a high-performing operations team responsible for essential facilities, engineering, maintenance, reliability, and operational readiness.

β€’ Create operational standards, governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and best practices across all locations.

β€’ Oversee the transition from design and construction to commissioning, turnover, operational readiness, and active operations.

β€’ Develop and execute reliability-centered maintenance, asset management, and lifecycle management programs for critical infrastructure.

β€’ Propel operational excellence initiatives aimed at uptime, efficiency, safety, capacity utilization, sustainability, and enhancing customer experience.

β€’ Set KPIs, reporting structures, and performance management systems to assess operational efficiency across the portfolio.

β€’ Collaborate with development and delivery teams to integrate operational requirements into facility design standards and upcoming deployments.

β€’ Manage CMMS/EAM platforms, work management systems, maintenance strategies, and operational technology initiatives.

β€’ Direct vendor management, service partner relationships, and operational procurement processes.

β€’ Promote continuous improvement initiatives that mitigate risk, enhance reliability, and optimize operational costs.

β€’ Engage with customers in hyperscale, AI, cloud, and enterprise sectors as a senior operational representative.

β€’ Administer annual operating budgets and assist in capital planning across the portfolio.

β€’ Cultivate a culture focused on safety, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.

β€’ Recruit, mentor, and nurture future operations leaders within the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.

β€’ Over 20 years of experience in leading mission-critical infrastructure, data center operations, semiconductor facilities, or large-scale industrial operations.

β€’ More than 10 years of executive leadership experience overseeing multi-site operations organizations.

β€’ Proven success in operating hyperscale data centers that support cloud, AI, or high-density compute environments.

β€’ Experience managing operations across multiple campuses, regions, or global portfolios.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of critical infrastructure systems, including electrical distribution, UPS, generators, cooling systems, controls, and mechanical systems.

β€’ Demonstrated experience in developing operational readiness, commissioning, and transitioning from construction to operations programs.

β€’ Strong understanding of reliability engineering methodologies, including RCM, FMEA, root cause analysis, and risk management frameworks.

β€’ Experience in implementing CMMS/EAM platforms and enterprise maintenance programs.

β€’ Proven track record of building and leading large-scale operational teams comprising facility managers, engineers, technicians, and support staff.

β€’ Experience managing significant operating budgets, capital programs, and operational P&L responsibilities.

β€’ Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

β€’ Strong business acumen with the capacity to balance operational performance, customer outcomes, and financial goals.

β€’ Professional Engineer (PE), PMP, Uptime Institute, AFCOM, or similar certifications are advantageous.
