This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Establish and lead Eliza's Office of the CISO security practice.
β’ Manage the practice's P&L, revenue objectives, pricing, packaging, and service offerings.
β’ Develop service lines that encompass security assessments, red, blue, and purple team activities, along with security training.
β’ Collaborate with the CEO to formulate practice strategy and oversee pipeline and revenue goals.
β’ Act as the representative for the practice to CISOs and security leaders, conduct executive briefings, and finalize engagements.
β’ Create thought leadership through presentations, briefings, workshops, and insights on AI and security.
β’ Manage the OpenAI security partnership and transform partner leads into funded projects.
β’ Meet partnership capability standards by executing security work on Eliza's platform.
β’ Recruit and lead security engineers and consultants while scaling the delivery organization.
β’ Develop repeatable delivery methods, evidence standards, and engagement quality standards.
β’ Maintain a hands-on approach in coding, findings, and client engagements.
β’ Oversee Eliza's internal security program, policies, and overall security posture.
β’ Formulate security strategies for composable, adaptive AI software.
β’ Leverage experiences from securing Eliza's platform to enhance client services.
β’ Current or recent experience as a VP or equivalent security executive.
β’ Proven experience in building a services business, security consultancy, or managed/delivery services organization, including revenue ownership.
β’ Established credibility with CISOs as a peer, particularly with Fortune 500 security leaders.
β’ Strong technical foundation, including the ability to read code and understand modern application and cloud infrastructure security.
β’ Regular use of AI tools for threat research, code assessments, and security tasks.
β’ Demonstrated thought leadership through speaking, writing, advising, or teaching.
β’ History of taking ownership of outcomes and building from the ground up with revenue targets and no existing playbook.
β’ Willingness to travel frequently for client and partner meetings.
β’ Experience in high-stakes or heavily regulated environments such as financial services, national security, defense, or critical infrastructure.
β’ Background in offensive security, red teaming, or security research.
β’ Experience at a security services or penetration testing firm, or in establishing a security practice within a consulting firm.
β’ Direct experience leading an organization through a significant security incident.
β’ Legally authorized to work in the United States.
β’ Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
