This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement a robust national corporate partnership strategy that is in line with Family Promise's mission, strategic objectives, and annual revenue targets.
• Set annual and multi-year corporate revenue targets, pipeline goals, retention plans, and strategies for partnership growth.
• Develop and sustain a strong pipeline of qualified corporate prospects.
• Identify emerging industries, organizations, and partnership opportunities that align with the organization's priorities and mission.
• Formulate strategies to diversify and enhance corporate revenue streams.
• Provide forecasting, pipeline evaluations, and revenue reports to the Chief Development Officer and senior leadership.
• Guide the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and completion of major national corporate partnerships.
• Establish relationships with senior corporate decision-makers in areas such as corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, community affairs, marketing, human resources, and employee engagement.
• Create tailored partnership opportunities that resonate with corporate interests, Family Promise's mission, programs, and geographical outreach.
• Lead the creation of presentations, proposals, negotiations, and partnership agreements.
• Represent Family Promise at corporate meetings, industry events, conferences, and external gatherings.
• Engage executive leadership, Board members, volunteers, and network leaders to promote high-value prospects.
• Manage a portfolio of significant national corporate relationships.
• Create relationship and growth plans for priority partners, encompassing revenue targets, engagement strategies, stewardship, renewal, and expansion.
• Cultivate multi-year partnerships that enhance financial investment and mission involvement.
• Strengthen existing relationships through philanthropy, sponsorship, cause marketing, employee engagement, workplace giving, and other partnership avenues.
• Ensure timely and meaningful impact reporting to partners.
• Direct renewal and upgrade strategies for major corporate partners.
• Act as the executive-level relationship manager and escalation point.
• Collaborate with Programs, Marketing and Communications, Finance, and Affiliate Services for partnership development and activation.
• Ensure that partnership agreements clearly outline deliverables, financial commitments, responsibilities, timelines, recognition, reporting, and expectations.
• Develop internal processes for assessing partnership opportunities.
• Coordinate complex partnership activations across departments.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications on cause-marketing campaigns, sponsorship recognition, storytelling, and corporate communication strategies.
• Work alongside Programs and leadership to ensure partnerships support mission goals and can be effectively executed.
• Partner with Finance on revenue forecasting, gift processing, budgeting, reporting, and contractual obligations.
• Build a Corporate Partnerships team and advise organizational leadership on corporate fundraising, partnership strategies, market opportunities, and emerging trends.
• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Over 7 years of substantial progressive experience in corporate fundraising, corporate partnerships, business development, strategic partnerships, and/or sponsorship.
• Proven success in securing and expanding significant multi-year corporate partnerships at the national level while achieving ambitious revenue targets.
• Experience in a national nonprofit, chapter-based organization, federation, or a similarly complex organization is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with national stakeholders who have varying priorities and responsibilities.
• Experience in leading, coaching, and developing fundraising or partnership professionals.
• Comprehensive understanding of corporate philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, cause marketing, sponsorship, employee engagement, and related partnership models.
• Proven track record in developing and managing a substantial prospect pipeline.
• Strong skills in negotiation, presentation, proposal development, and relationship management.
• Ability to work effectively across different functions and influence colleagues without direct authority.
• Strong financial acumen, including revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, budgeting, and performance management.
• Experience with CRM systems for managing portfolios, pipelines, activities, and forecasts.
• Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and executive communication skills.
• Work schedule primarily aligned with the Eastern Time zone.
