This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a regional team of Strategic Oncology Account Directors.
• Establish expectations, offer constructive feedback, and enhance account leadership capabilities.
• Facilitate in-field engagement while nurturing relationships with C/D-Suite Population-Based Decision Makers across academic cancer institutions and community oncology networks.
• Oversee the development and implementation of GSK’s go-to-market strategy in community oncology, health system accounts, and prominent cancer centers.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Pricing & Contracting, Medical, oncology business units, and GSK account teams.
• Negotiate and execute contract agreements that align with access and customer strategies.
• Integrate oncology brand strategies, access initiatives, and system-level projects to capitalize on business opportunities.
• Deliver regional strategic plans and meet performance objectives using KPIs such as patient access, formulary status, pathway inclusion, and clinically appropriate use.
• Conduct internal strategy discussions and performance evaluations.
• Foster connectivity among US oncology brand teams, Market Access, Medical, and cross-functional partners.
• Utilize marketing research, market intelligence, clinical messaging, and account insights to guide strategies.
• Support account-specific campaigns, tools, and resources across key accounts.
• Ensure compliance with GSK policies, Write Right principles, and regulatory standards.
• Represent GSK at sponsored industry events.
• Exemplify GSK’s values and promote trust, accountability, and continuous development.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in leading or managing a team.
• More than 8 years in commercial roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
• At least 4 years in commercial roles specifically within Oncology in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
• Experience in account management within complex environments at the enterprise (C/D suite) level.
• Knowledge of solid tumors and/or hematologic malignancies.
• Familiarity with community oncology practice management, GPO relationships, and oncology group purchasing dynamics.
• Experience with oncology care models, value-based contracts, or risk-bearing provider groups.
• Previous cross-functional roles in Market Access, Sales Leadership, Medical Affairs, or HEOR.
• Proven clinical fluency, including knowledge of oncology clinical trial data, pathology, biomarker testing, and treatment algorithms.
• Working knowledge of oncology reimbursement, the 340B program, GPO contracting, buy-and-bill, and specialty pharmacy dynamics.
• Experience in supporting or leading a pharmaceutical oncolytic product launch.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Veeva CRM, and Power BI or similar analytics platforms.
• Skills in Coaching, Data to Insights, Digital Fluency, Omnichannel, Sales Performance Management (SPM), and Scientific Literacy.
