This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Create and implement the enterprise clinical advisory strategy that aligns with strategic growth goals.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing national Clinical Advisor organization.
• Set performance expectations, organizational priorities, and professional development initiatives.
• Act as the senior clinical leader representing the company both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership to devise clinical engagement strategies and support strategic growth initiatives.
• Allocate clinical resources to strategic accounts, major implementations, enterprise opportunities, and competitive conversions.
• Provide executive clinical support during intricate customer evaluations, executive presentations, and high-value opportunities.
• Design scalable clinical programs that enhance customer adoption, utilization, and long-term success.
• Supervise product demonstrations, clinical evaluations, equipment trials, customer education, product in-services, implementation planning, and post-installation adoption support.
• Standardize clinical implementation methodologies and best practices throughout the organization.
• Forge relationships with executive nursing leadership, clinical directors, wound care leaders, mobility teams, and healthcare executives.
• Offer clinical guidance on customer needs, workflow challenges, patient and caregiver safety, usability, and product differentiation.
• Integrate clinical considerations into product development, enhancements, and innovation roadmaps.
• Assess healthcare trends, regulatory changes, and evolving standards of care for future product strategy.
• Collaborate with Clinical Affairs on addressing evidence gaps, research initiatives, publications, presentations, and evidence generation.
• Transform field clinical observations into research opportunities and product enhancements.
• Champion patient and caregiver safety throughout the organization.
• Work alongside Quality, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, and Manufacturing to manage clinical product risks.
• Provide guidance on product-related safety and quality incidents as necessary.
• Relay customer feedback regarding product performance, usability, and safety throughout the organization.
• Encourage continuous improvement by leveraging customer insights and post-market clinical feedback.
• Develop the clinical education strategy for customers, internal teams, and healthcare professionals.
• Oversee clinical education programs, continuing education offerings, implementation resources, and training materials.
• Represent the company at national conferences, customer advisory boards, industry organizations, and professional associations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, professional societies, and healthcare stakeholders.
• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• A Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related healthcare field is strongly preferred.
• An active Registered Nurse (RN) license is preferred.
• Advanced clinical certifications (WOCN, CWON, Safe Patient Handling, Falls Prevention, Critical Care, Rehabilitation, or similar) are preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive clinical leadership experience is required.
• At least 7 years of experience leading clinical teams within healthcare, medical device, or healthcare services organizations is necessary.
• Proven success in partnering with executive hospital leadership and commercial organizations.
• Experience in supporting medical device commercialization, product launches, or clinical implementation programs is preferred.
• Involvement in clinical research, publications, evidence generation, or professional presentations is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.
• Expertise in senior leadership and organizational development.
• Strong understanding of acute care clinical practice, hospital operations, and healthcare delivery.
• Extensive knowledge of patient safety, pressure injury prevention, falls prevention, safe patient handling, mobility, and therapeutic support surfaces.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and forge strategic partnerships.
• Strong business acumen with the capability to align clinical strategy with commercial objectives.
• Experience in collaboration across Product Management, Clinical Affairs, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
• Exceptional skills in executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and public speaking.
• Proven track record in leading organizational change and building high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in developing and engaging key opinion leaders and clinical advisory boards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/business intelligence tools.
