Vibration Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform analysis of plant-wide vibration data obtained through remote monitoring of site assets.

• Establish communication networks with designated plants and follow up on suggested actions.

• Collaborate with regional technicians for additional site assessments as required.

• Create workflow models for upcoming remote monitoring initiatives.

• Partner with data analytics teams where vibration data analysis is necessary.

• Visit sites to support quality assurance/quality control and execution when required.

• Aid in the development and implementation of site-wide sensor installations as needed.

• Travel to manufacturing facilities up to 50% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• ISO Vibration Level II certification or higher.

• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance or facility operations within an industrial or manufacturing setting.

• Proficient in conducting analysis using SKF/Emerson CSI or comparable vibration analysis tools.

• Effective use of problem-solving techniques.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Demonstrated capacity to learn and effectively use social networking tools.

• Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.

• Willingness and capability to travel to sites and foster relationships with operations, up to 50% of the time.

• Background in mechanical maintenance.

• Experience in driving organizational change and the ability to think creatively.

• Familiarity with process data historians such as OSI PI and Wonderware.

• Knowledge and practical application of mechanical precision maintenance principles.

• Experience with online/cloud-based vibration monitoring systems.

• Background as an individual contributor or leader in a corporate setting.
