This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Oversee the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure of intricate healthcare programs that support an integrated healthcare system.
• Provide strategic direction for enterprise initiatives aligned with VHA priorities.
• Manage contract performance, project timelines, deliverables, staffing, and resource distribution across various workstreams.
• Collaborate with VA leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to set priorities, address challenges, and achieve desired program results.
• Supervise program governance, risk management, performance reporting, and quality assurance processes.
• Direct project management efforts utilizing industry best practices and established project management frameworks.
• Oversee data analytics, performance metrics, dashboard creation, and reporting to facilitate executive decision-making.
• Assist in budget planning, financial monitoring, and budget application management tasks.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to boost operational efficiency and program effectiveness.
• Lead organizational change management initiatives to support the implementation of clinical, operational, and technological projects.
• Ensure adherence to VA policies, federal regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Mentor project managers and technical personnel while promoting collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least ten (10) years of progressive experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• A minimum of six (6) years of experience in support of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
• Experience in implementing enterprise clinical and/or healthcare technology solutions within a large healthcare organization.
• In-depth knowledge of organizational change management, process improvement, and implementation science methodologies.
• Professional certifications such as Prosci Change Management, Lean, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or equivalent.
• Strong technical expertise in healthcare informatics, healthcare data analytics, performance measurement, and reporting.
• Experience in supporting enterprise governance, executive reporting, and strategic planning initiatives.
