Veterinary Regional Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Supervise and direct practice managers across all hospitals

• Oversee hospital operations, which include staffing, inventory management, budgeting, employee and client scheduling, marketing efforts, employee training, and human resources

• Serve as a vital resource and collaborator to managing veterinarians

• Cultivate strong partnerships with managing veterinarians and integrate their insights and objectives

• Analyze financial reports with practice leadership teams and devise strategies tailored for each practice

• Evaluate non-financial reports, which encompass inventory and scheduling budgets

• Propel improvement initiatives based on the outcomes of reports

• Steer the post-acquisition integration process for newly acquired clinics

• Work in conjunction with the Regional Director, Vice President of Operations, Veterinary Partner Doctors, Practice Managers, and the Internal Operations team

• Travel to practices four days a week, with one dedicated office day, and accommodate up to five practice days as required

• Assist in the growth of Alliance Animal Health as new partner hospitals are added to the region

• Exceptional communication, team-building, and leadership abilities

• Highly organized with effective time management skills

• A minimum of 3 years of experience overseeing multiple locations for a multi-site operator within the veterinary sector

• Self-motivated and eager to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting, demonstrating initiative

• Strong analytical capabilities with experience in reviewing budgets and financial statements

• Proficient in the complete range of Microsoft Office applications

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is mandatory

• Preferably resides near the Kansas City, KS Metro area, though location flexibility is available

• Must adhere to a drug-free and smoke-free workplace policy
