Area Service Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Supervise field operations within an assigned territory or area

• Oversee service technicians and independent contractors

• Assist and troubleshoot inquiries from field personnel

• Stay updated on advancements in 12V technology through continuous education

• Carry out daily operational responsibilities for the designated area

• Ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment

• Conduct quality assurance inspections of all facilities at least quarterly

• Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for both customers and employees

• Independently address and resolve service-related challenges

• Sell to and train new contractor facilities while nurturing and expanding the service network

• Provide support to internal departments and personnel

• Submit necessary reports and expense claims promptly

• Lead, coordinate, and engage in corporate initiatives aimed at improving efficiency

• Communicate with management when challenges arise

• Uphold the integrity, confidentiality, and security of relevant information and records

• Manage after-hours and weekend calls

• Perform additional assigned duties

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Service Technician

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Excellent telephone communication skills

• Detail-oriented approach

• Willingness to take after-hours and weekend calls

• Compliance with all state and federal regulations, rules, and statutes

• Capability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling

• Requires close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, along with the ability to adjust focus
