Veterinary Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Provide surgical nursing and assist in theatre operations.

• Oversee anaesthesia and aid in patient recovery processes.

• Deliver medical nursing and care for hospital patients.

• Engage in consultative nursing and educate clients.

• Administer emergency and critical care nursing services.

• Gather pathology samples and conduct diagnostic tests.

• Assist veterinarians during consultations and procedures.

• Undertake reception and customer service tasks as needed.

• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and infection control.

• Contribute to the Team-Based Care framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification).

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in clinical veterinary nursing.

• Strong background in surgical nursing practices.

• Ability to monitor anaesthesia independently with confidence and skill.

• Exceptional patient care and animal handling capabilities.

• Experience in medical and hospital nursing environments.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Calm, mature, empathetic, and professional demeanor.

• Experience with Team-Based Care is highly valued.

• Full availability and flexibility from Monday to Saturday.

• Willingness to work rotating Saturdays, approximately once every four weeks.
