Veterinary Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Execute surgical nursing and provide assistance in the theatre

• Oversee anaesthesia and facilitate patient recovery

• Deliver medical nursing and care for hospital patients

• Offer consultative nursing and educate clients

• Carry out emergency and critical care nursing

• Gather pathology samples and perform diagnostic tests

• Assist veterinarians during consultations and procedures

• Handle reception and customer service tasks

• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and infection control

• Contribute to the Team-Based Care model

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)

• At least 2+ years of experience in clinical veterinary nursing

• Strong expertise in surgical nursing

• Ability to confidently and competently monitor anaesthesia independently

• Exceptional skills in patient care and animal handling

• Experience in medical and hospital nursing environments

• Outstanding communication and customer service skills

• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team

• Composed, mature, empathetic, and professional demeanor

• A genuine passion for veterinary nursing
