This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Propel sales expansion by providing integrated IDEXX diagnostic solutions to veterinary clients within the designated territory.
• Establish and enhance connections with both new and existing veterinary clinics.
• Discover new business prospects and meet new account acquisition goals.
• Oversee the designated territory that includes the Lower North Island, covering Wellington, Kapiti, Manawatu, the East Coast, as well as Otago/Southland.
• Formulate and implement strategic territory plans, customer development strategies, and initiatives for account growth.
• Showcase and demonstrate IDEXX products, laboratory services, and software-integrated diagnostic innovations.
• Utilize data, insights, and the wider IDEXX ecosystem to deliver customer value and enhance loyalty.
• Keep precise customer records and sales activities in Salesforce CRM.
• Work in collaboration with Customer Support, Marketing, Technical Support, and Reference Laboratory teams.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and educational activities as necessary.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven success in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing commercial roles.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong customer relationships and influence results through a consultative sales approach.
• Highly driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously within a large geographical territory.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong planning, organizational, and territory management skills.
• Proficient in using CRM systems and leveraging data to enhance customer outcomes.
• A customer-first attitude, integrity, teamwork, and a passion for achieving results.
• Experience in veterinary, animal health, healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or scientific fields is highly valued.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
