This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Strategize and oversee all facets of small to medium-sized client projects as well as specific components of larger initiatives.

• Spearhead efforts across the Revenue Cycle spectrum, which includes Patient Access, HIM/Coding, Charge Capture, Revenue Integrity, Denials/Underpayments Management and Recovery, and Patient Financial Services.

• Attain improvements in operational and financial performance, such as minimizing DNFB and A/R days, expediting cash flow, enhancing insurance verification and Medicaid eligibility conversions, improving timely claim submissions, preventing denials, managing vendor relationships, and reducing bad debt.

• Conduct assessments of the current state, perform opportunity quantification analyses, and provide actionable recommendations.

• Develop project charters, work plans, realization schedules, benefit tracking tools, client deliverables, and transition planning documents.

• Assign tasks, guide and supervise progress, and evaluate staff deliverables.

• Create analyses and financial models utilizing transactional and/or financial data.

• Establish and maintain benefit realization models while tracking project performance against operational and financial objectives.

• Produce client deliverables and contribute to practice articles and whitepapers.

• Manage relationships with senior-level clients and convey results to executive stakeholders.

• Utilize relevant software tools, analytical methods, and computer models to formulate solutions.

• Engage in practice meetings, business development efforts, staff training, and recruitment activities.

• Comply with project budgets and timelines while achieving goals and deadlines.


⛳️ Requirements

• 6 - 8+ years of experience in the healthcare industry or consulting, specifically in Revenue Cycle operations, encompassing performance improvement and process re-engineering, revenue management and redesign, and reimbursement and recovery strategies.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g., BS, BBA, MBA, MHA, M.A., M.S., etc.) with a preferred concentration in Management, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Industry-relevant certification is preferred (e.g., CRCR, CHFP, CHAM, CRCE-I, CRCE-P, etc.).

• Comprehensive operational knowledge of Revenue Cycle functions, including Patient Access, HIM/Coding, Charge Capture, Revenue Integrity, Denials/Underpayments Management and Recovery, or Patient Financial Services.

• Strong project management experience and a proven record of contributing to assessments and project implementations.

• Experience in utilizing revenue cycle technologies, automation tools, AI-driven workflows, and analytics platforms.

• Capability to draft work plans, project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to manage team and client relationships effectively.

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.

• Proficiency in presenting findings and recommendations to senior healthcare executives.

• Capacity to excel in a high-performance, fast-paced team environment.

• Proven ability to lead project teams, mentor junior consultants, and manage multiple concurrent workstreams.

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, MEDITECH, and Athena/IDX is preferred.

• Willingness to travel consistently 50%–80%, depending on project demands and client expectations.

• Capability to provide verification of legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
