Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Manage the West-Vlaanderen territory and its customer base independently to enhance recurring diagnostic revenue and achieve quarterly sales of medical device equipment.

• Boost the usage of in-house diagnostic tests and assays, as well as instrument consumables, reference laboratory profiles, and advanced tests.

• Collaborate with fellow IDEXX sales professionals to successfully close capital equipment and technology sales.

• Provide education and training to veterinary clinic staff regarding products, services, marketing efforts, and customer service engagement.

• Maintain a thorough and current understanding of IDEXX products and services.

• Relay customer needs and competitive challenges to IDEXX marketing and the business unit manager.

• Collaborate with laboratory operations to address customer inquiries and service challenges.

• Represent IDEXX values professionally to customers, demonstrating knowledge of the veterinary industry, practices, customers, technology, operations, and processes.

• Participate in regional trade shows and educational events.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience effectively managing a personal sales territory.

• Experience in territory management sales within the veterinary/animal health industry, human healthcare medical device sales, dental device sales, and/or prior capital equipment sales.

• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative, team-oriented sales environment.

• Willingness to meet field sales requirements, which include significant car travel, potential overnight travel, availability for weekend work related to tradeshows or occasional meetings, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

• Comfortability in veterinary clinics and hospital settings.

• Proficiency in both English and Dutch.
