This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Process employment, educational, professional license, certification, reference, and custom verification orders.
• Conduct both outbound and inbound communications through phone, email, fax, web portals, and other methods.
• Manage assigned work queues and prioritize orders to fulfill SLAs and turnaround time objectives.
• Review verification requests for completeness, identifying any missing information.
• Document research, communications, attempts, and verification results within company systems.
• Analyze information from verification sources and compare it with applicant-provided data.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate complex issues or compliance concerns as necessary.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards, FCRA requirements, client specifications, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with employers, educational institutions, licensing agencies, applicants, clients, and third parties.
• Follow up on outstanding requests to reduce delays.
• Assist with special projects, process enhancements, and departmental initiatives.
• Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional departments.
• Meet or exceed productivity, quality, and service performance metrics.
• Stay informed on verification procedures, industry trends, and internal process updates.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year of experience in an administrative, customer service, data entry, research, or operations-related position.
• Preferred experience in background screening, verifications, human resources, recruiting, education records, credentialing, or related fields.
• Previous experience conducting employment and education verifications is preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume production environment with service-level expectations is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong investigative and research skills.
• Ability to quickly analyze information and identify inconsistencies or discrepancies.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.

• Must have a dedicated and ergonomic workspace at home.
• Access to a stable and reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Adequate lighting and minimal background noise to support professional video calls and meetings.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 5 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work comfortably and effectively in a home environment that adheres to ergonomic standards.
