This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Take responsibility for block- and system-level verification of ASIC and FPGA designs, from the development of test plans through to coverage closure.
• Design and build UVM, formal, and assertion-based verification environments utilizing constrained-random verification methodologies.
• Create behavioral models and test cases to meet functional coverage objectives.
• Establish and monitor coverage metrics until closure.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to simulation and regression failures.
• Collaborate with designers and system architects to address challenges effectively.
• Automate verification processes and oversee regressions using Python, Perl, or Tcl.
• Plan, implement, and report on various verification activities while serving as the verification lead.
• Engage directly with external clients regarding verification strategies and support.
• Work collaboratively across teams in FPGA/DSP, hardware, embedded software, verification, SI/PI, PCB layout, and mechanical/thermal design.
• Provide electronic systems for clients in sectors such as space, communications, computing, storage, video, imaging, VR/AR, industrial, medical, and automotive applications.
• Over 8 years of experience in ASIC/FPGA verification, demonstrating proven leadership in verification roles.
• Proficient in SystemVerilog and UVM methodology.
• Experience with constrained-random verification (CRV) methodologies.
• Familiarity with functional coverage, assertions, and formal verification methods.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, DDR/LPDDR, HBM, security, networking, AXI, NoC, and ARM CPU subsystems.
• Experience with cocoTB, pyUVM, or DPI-C is advantageous.
• Skilled in Python, Perl, or Tcl programming.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills; comfortable in client-facing roles.
• Embraces AI as an integral part of a contemporary engineering toolkit.
• Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally may be required.
