Science Curriculum Designer, Biology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and compose clear, engaging, and interactive science questions that align with designated K–12 educational goals.

• Develop age-appropriate explanations for life science concepts that are helpful and informative.

• Ensure that all questions and explanations are scientifically accurate.

• Collaborate with illustrators, curriculum designers, and company leadership to formulate content strategies.

• Plan and oversee projects to produce and deliver high-quality science content.

• Conduct research and review IXL's alignment with educational standards, common assessments, and widely-used textbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Biology is mandatory.

• Experience in teaching or tutoring science at the high school or collegiate level is essential.

• Capability to work across various scientific fields, including life science, earth science, physical science, and engineering.

• Exceptional writing skills are required.

• A proactive attitude with a willingness to consider others' ideas is necessary.

• Highly self-driven and efficient, with an outstanding attention to detail.

• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design is an advantage.
