Vendor Relations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +33 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute a strategy for vendor relationships to procure products and services from third-party suppliers at the most advantageous total cost of ownership.

• Supervise and engage personnel, processes, and supplier relationships to promote innovation, cost control, quality enhancements, process improvements, asset optimization, risk management, social responsibility, and sustainability.

• Cultivate strategic partnerships and oversee performance with key suppliers.

• Collaborate on value generation, risk management, governance, and improved customer service.

• Manage comprehensive vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Assist in the review and input of Vendor Service Agreements, pricing requests, and statements of work.

• Oversee individual contributors and/or supervisors.

• Take responsibility for team performance and outcomes.

• Evaluate departmental priorities and address resource and operational challenges.

• Assess the team's capability to meet service, quality, and timeliness goals.

• Identify and resolve technical and operational issues.

• Manage one or more related teams and adjust departmental plans and priorities accordingly.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Generally requires 8+ years of pertinent work experience.
