📋 Description

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies across all logistics operations segments.

• Take ownership of the associated sourcing project pipeline.

• Engage in strategic partner management and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance logistics and customer delivery experiences.

• Represent successes or challenges with partners for resolution during Global Business Reviews.

• Achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies through ongoing improvements in logistics performance, service/mode adjustments, and warehouse optimization.

• Lead sourcing initiatives and oversee project deliverables, timelines, negotiations, and compliance with contracts.

• Communicate with executives from various functions regarding strategies for risk mitigation, long-term planning, and supply chain resilience.

• Prepare the supply chain and manage continuity for project implementations and changes in partnerships.

• Employ methodologies like Agile to support enhancement programs.

• Collaborate with order management, planning, repair, manufacturing, and finance teams.

• Drive initiatives aimed at reducing supply chain costs.

• Guide supplier changes and team expectations by motivating suppliers to meet or surpass agreed-upon modifications.

• Utilize necessary resources and influence to ensure efficient delivery of projects and changes.

• Analyze supply chain challenges, facilitate solutions and proposals, and convey plans and updates in a manner suitable for executives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in global logistics and transportation sourcing.

• Strong background in Logistics Management Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain Management.

• Experience in the High Tech Telecommunications or Networking Equipment sector is highly preferred.

• A BA/BS degree is required.

• An MBA or other graduate degree is preferred.

• Capacity to analyze complex information quickly.

• Ability to translate logistics partner dynamics into a business framework.

• Capability to recommend strategies for risk and escalation mitigation.

• Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills at the executive level.

• Exceptional active listening abilities and reading comprehension.

• Proven experience in leading with cross-functional impact.

• Experience in managing competing priorities effectively.

• Ability to foster a culture of support and innovation.

• Energetic, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
