This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +22 more states.
β’ Oversee daily interactions between business stakeholders and vendors
β’ Act as the main point of communication and intermediary between vendors and business stakeholders
β’ Deliver updates on performance metrics, manage capacity and demand, and address escalations
β’ Assist in vendor onboarding through effective communication, site visits, and training
β’ Inform vendors about program, product, and operational specifics
β’ Successfully transition business processes and/or operations
β’ Collaborate with business leaders to identify changing service needs, expectations, and requirements
β’ Evaluate performance gaps and rectify them through process enhancements, training, or other measures
β’ Assess vendor work for quality concerns and manage service improvement initiatives
β’ Contribute to vendor contract negotiations
β’ Work together with internal business partners on vendor strategy discussions
β’ Supply data, insights, and feedback on vendor operations
β’ Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (if required), or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field
β’ Experience in pharmacy, PBM, specialty pharmacy, prescription benefits, formulary, claims, medication management, or healthcare vendor is highly desired
β’ Preferred background in direct vendor management, supplier management, service delivery, account management, provider relations, or external partner oversight
β’ Familiarity with KPI, scorecard, dashboard, reporting, or performance management
β’ Experience in holding external organizations accountable for performance, service levels, quality, or contract obligations
β’ Understanding of vendor governance practices, SLAs, CAPs, and performance enhancement methodologies
β’ Proven ability to identify root causes, resolve complex operational challenges, and implement lasting process improvements
β’ Exposure to audits, compliance programs, regulatory requirements, or other highly regulated environments
β’ Strong analytical abilities and the capability to convert data into actionable insights and recommendations
β’ Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across various business sectors
β’ Experience in supporting vendor implementations, operational transitions, or service delivery improvements
