This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Work remotely while traveling frequently across the designated territory, which includes Rockford, Belvidere, Marengo, Crystal Lake, and other areas in Northern Illinois and Northwest Suburban markets.
• Drive business growth and sales in the Small Business and Branch Banking sector for companies generating less than $2.5M in revenue.
• Establish a pipeline of opportunities through self-driven prospecting and collaborations with Business Banking Specialists and Branch colleagues.
• Identify and manage a pipeline of opportunities with businesses under $2.5M in revenue.
• Implement targeted merchant sales strategies and successful marketing campaigns.
• Track and report on activities and progress towards set objectives.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and banking partners.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3 to 5 years of pertinent sales experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
• Strong sales skills and pipeline management capabilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of payment processing and merchant services.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and POS systems.
• Exceptional communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated history of success, motivation, and integrity.
• Multilingual abilities are advantageous.
• Candidates must adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, as well as related workplace conduct and safety regulations.
• Employment eligibility verification and background checks may be required.
• Certain roles may necessitate compliance with FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, NFA, FCPA, Bank Secrecy Act, SAFE Act, and other relevant federal guidelines.
