This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the complete lifecycle of vendor contracts, encompassing new agreements, renewals, and modifications.
β’ Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Security teams to identify, negotiate, and finalize vendor contracts.
β’ Conduct third-party security and compliance assessments for various vendors.
β’ Handle Purchase Orders, invoicing, payment processing, monthly accruals, and budget forecasting.
β’ Facilitate the onboarding of new vendors through compliance checks, security assessments, and performance management protocols.
β’ Monitor vendor performance in relation to contractual SLAs and budgetary constraints; perform budget-to-actual comparisons and risk assessments.
β’ Navigate the legal, tax, signatory, and compliance obligations of global vendors.
β’ Resolve vendor escalations, which may involve payment issues, invoicing conflicts, service interruptions, and PO/invoicing discrepancies.
β’ Provide leadership with updates concerning the health of the vendor portfolio, contract statuses, and compliance standings.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert regarding contract stipulations.
β’ Contribute to the development of AI strategies, conduct vendor and service analyses, and enhance onboarding processes.
β’ Create high-quality written and verbal communications tailored for executive audiences.
β’ Cultivate relationships with a diverse, growing global vendor portfolio while promoting cost-effective growth and improving vendor performance.
β’ A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional/military experience in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Vendor Management, Finance, Procurement, or a comparable field.
β’ Proven experience in managing vendor contract lifecycles (negotiations, renewals, amendments) in collaboration with both internal and external parties.
β’ Familiarity with vendor financial operations, including purchase orders, invoicing, accruals, and budget forecasting.
β’ Ability to utilize data and metrics to foster continuous improvement and manage vendor performance effectively.
β’ Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
β’ Proficient in Excel for analyzing extensive data sets and managing financial tracking.
β’ Experience or exposure to HR processes and practices.
β’ Background in overseeing third-party security and compliance evaluations.
β’ Experience in managing global vendor portfolios across diverse geographies with differing legal and regulatory requirements.
β’ Exceptional project management capabilities, with a history of handling multiple concurrent tasks while adhering to tight deadlines.
β’ Experience in driving alignment and influencing outcomes within cross-functional teams.
β’ Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and establish effective processes.
β’ Knowledge of vendor sourcing strategies and familiarity with contracting tools and methodologies.
