This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the complete vendor contract lifecycle, which includes new contracts, renewals, and amendments for a diverse range of vendors.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Contracting Legal, Finance, and Security teams to source, negotiate, and finalize vendor contracts, including intricate multi-vendor RFPs and global projects.
• Conduct third-party security and compliance evaluations across all vendors, ensuring timely completion and adherence to compliance standards.
• Supervise vendor financial operations, which encompass Purchase Order creation/amendments, invoicing and payment processing, monthly accruals, and budget forecasting in conjunction with Business, Cost, and Finance teams.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new vendors through established protocols, which include compliance onboarding, security assessments, and performance management setup.
• Oversee vendor performance in relation to contractual SLAs and budgets; prepare budget-to-actual analyses, identify risks, and collaborate with Finance and Service Delivery on strategic plans.
• Navigate the complexities of global vendors, including in-country signatory requirements, legal and tax considerations, and specific compliance nuances for different countries.
• Address and resolve vendor escalations, which include payment delays, invoicing disputes, service failures, and Purchase Order/invoicing violations.
• Provide both ad hoc and regularly scheduled updates to leadership regarding vendor portfolio health, contract status, and compliance posture.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on contract terms for Service Delivery, customers, and leadership.
• Assist in cross-functional initiatives such as AI strategy development, vendor and service evaluations, and enhancements to the vendor onboarding process.
• Communicate effectively through high-quality written and verbal communications, including documents intended for executive-level audiences.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional/military experience in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Vendor Management, Finance, Procurement, or a related area.
• Demonstrated experience in managing vendor contract lifecycles (negotiations, renewals, amendments) with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven experience with vendor financial operations, including purchase orders, invoicing, accruals, and budget forecasting.
• Ability to utilize data and metrics to foster continuous improvement and manage vendor performance.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for analyzing large data sets and managing financial tracking.
• HR experience or familiarity with HR processes and practices.
• Experience in overseeing third-party security and compliance evaluations.
• Familiarity with managing global vendor portfolios across multiple regions with varying legal and regulatory requirements.
• Outstanding project management skills with a proven history of managing multiple concurrent tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
• Experience in driving alignment and influencing results with cross-functional teams.
• Capable of navigating ambiguous scenarios and establishing effective processes.
