This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver daily vehicle support from a Technical Service Engineering perspective, emphasizing vehicle uptime.
• Collaborate with the Regional Team, INEOS Grenadier Retailers, regional customers, and the Global Technical Team.
• Keep customers at the forefront of support initiatives and uphold customer brand trust.
• Establish processes and frameworks across Aftersales, Technical Service Engineering, and broader INEOS Automotive teams.
• Visit retailers and customers on-site, and assist with regional press and special events.
• Travel to the INEOS plant as necessary and foster relationships with the assembly facility in Hambach.
• Investigate root-cause problems to enhance quality and minimize claims and repairs.
• Collaborate with the head-office technical team to recognize vehicle and customer-experience risks and enhancements.
• Provide alternative customer support when network coverage is lacking and suggest solutions for network deficiencies.
• Support workshops in executing efficient repairs using a “fix once, fix first” methodology.
• Engage in team meetings, operational assessments, critiques, and ongoing performance enhancement.
• Partner with the Call Centre to ensure post-repair customer outreach and satisfaction.
• Assist non-INEOS repairers, fleet managers, fleet operators, and fleet clients.
• Address technical, parts, and warranty process challenges with Aftersales and the larger organization.
• Evaluate technical publications, training materials, support documents, and packages for potential improvements.
• Review diagnostic tools, technical reports, operational equipment, and tooling systems.
• Aid in developing vehicle product requirements from initial concept and design stages based on customer feedback.
• Engage in short- and long-term service-fix development, ensuring root causes are addressed through lasting engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to enhance customer service and achieve swift repair solutions.
• Extensive 8–10 years of experience in Aftersales and Technical Service Engineering, including background in vehicle manufacturing or the broader motor trade.
• Recognizable technical qualification or equivalent experience is essential.
• Comprehensive experience across Automotive Technical Service Engineering and Aftersales sectors.
• Preferred background in automotive aftersales.
• Strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in utilizing, understanding, and developing technical and aftersales tools, diagnostic equipment, and strategies.
• A robust commitment to continuous improvement and a Kaizen mindset.
• Capability to work within office and field-based teams with a customer-centric repair and service excellence focus.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities across various departments and functions.
• Exceptional communication skills.
