VC Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Establish connections with investors who provide direct funding to private companies

• Conduct research on active investors, including their investment preferences, stages, and check sizes

• Compose initial outreach communications to family offices, angel investors, and early-stage funds

• Transform investor responses into scheduled calls

• Assess investor qualifications and arrange meetings with founders whose opportunities align with their investment criteria

• Manage and evaluate the investor network

• Collaborate directly with the two co-founders and the investor team

• Gain insights into how the company evaluates opportunities and makes diligence decisions

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in venture capital, whether as an analyst, scout, at an accelerator, or in a deal-related role

• Ability to identify notable venture capital rounds from the current year

• Skill in crafting concise, targeted messages to unfamiliar recipients that elicit responses

• Capacity to maintain a high level of productivity without sacrificing quality

• Ability to independently adhere to established processes

• Knowledge of funding-round fundamentals, including stages, check sizes, SAFE versus priced rounds, and reasons why an investor might decline

• Maintain confidentiality regarding investor information

• Regular use of AI tools with sound judgment regarding their appropriate usage

• Do not include investor names in the application
