This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Compute monthly, quarterly, and annual incentive payments for sales and customer success teams.
• Review booking data, resolve disputes, and ensure incentive payments are aligned with signed compensation agreements and payroll schedules.
• Act as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for CaptivateIQ.
• Manage data integrations between Salesforce and Workday.
• Construct and evaluate complex payout algorithms while maintaining compensation models.
• Enhance the CaptivateIQ platform for scalability.
• Review customer records, pricing information, and opportunity data.
• Create and sustain commission reporting dashboards for leadership and finance teams.
• Provide insights on the effectiveness of incentives, trends in attainment, and commission expenses.
• Collaborate with leadership, Operations, and HR during the annual compensation planning process.
• Model proposed compensation structures and commission scenarios.
• Convert compensation plans into operational logic within CaptivateIQ.
• Supervise regular audits of commission statements prior to payment disbursement.
• Enhance compensation workflows and address any process deficiencies.
• Guide the sales organization on commission policies.
• Engage with payees regarding their statements, inquiries, and discrepancies.
• Work in partnership with Finance, Accounting, GTM Operations, Analytics, HR, Sales, Sales Operations, and Pricing.
• Over 8 years of experience in variable compensation and sales/revenue operations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and overseeing sales variable compensation programs, particularly within a fast-growing go-to-market team.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex sales data, identify trends, and draw accurate conclusions.
• Familiarity with relevant compliance and legal standards related to sales compensation.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience managing Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platforms, with a strong preference for CaptivateIQ experience.
• Proven project management skills with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with a diverse group of stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Capability to solve problems and make informed decisions, particularly in high-pressure situations.
• Understanding of the broader go-to-market strategy and how compensation influences sales behavior.
