This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct proactive monitoring and surveillance of assets associated with CRE loans.
• Act as the main point of contact for borrowers, investors, third parties, and internal teams.
• Oversee an assigned portfolio of commercial real estate loans.
• Manage borrower requests and interpret documentation related to CRE loans.
• Monitor and enforce loan covenants, including letters of credit, cash management, waterfall allocation, DSCR testing, occupancy triggers, and requirements for construction/rehabilitation.
• Execute quality control checks of loan boarding against loan documentation.
• Mentor and train Asset Managers on interpreting CRE loan documents and managing complex assets or draws.
• Supervise escrow, reserves, insurance, rent rolls, financial statements, property inspections, and performance issues.
• Analyze property-level financial statements and develop pro formas.
• Address and resolve delinquent payment issues with borrowers and investors.
• Compute amortization tables, interest, default interest, prepayment premiums, yield maintenance, and escrow constants.
• Create and maintain investor watchlists and generate relevant reports.
• Lead client calls and meetings focused on loan performance.
• Review borrower loan draws and schedules for construction or renovation.
• Prepare, collaborate on, and review CREF-C reporting packages.
• Complete, review, and approve presentation-level summaries and recommendations for borrower requests.
• Manage assumptions, collateral substitutions, insurance loss processes, insurance non-compliance, maturity extensions, loan modifications, partial collateral releases, and changes in property management.
• Collaborate with internal departments, update policies and procedures, assist with audits, and prepare presentations.
• Serve as the escalation point for inquiries from the team, clients, and borrowers.
• Comply with investor servicing guidelines and internal policies and procedures.
• A four-year degree from an accredited institution is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in CRE loan servicing is required.
• Preferred 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Familiarity with the complete CRE loan life cycle from onboarding to Mortgage Satisfaction.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, CoPilot, and other information processing software.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently.
• Ability to perform complex calculations using calculators and systems.
• Strong reasoning skills and sound judgment.
• Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Strong customer service capabilities along with skills in professional relationship-building, conflict resolution, and managing difficult conversations.
• Must successfully complete the Company’s background screening process prior to employment commencement.
• May be required to undergo client-specific background checks or meet Federal/State licensing requirements.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Previous experience with the REALSynergy servicing system is advantageous.
