This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise a team comprising Asset Managers and Portfolio Managers responsible for Commercial Real Estate loans, with direct oversight of 3–10 team members.
• Share accountability for the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team personnel.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for intricate Borrower and Investor issues.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with Borrowers, Investors, Master Servicers, and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Special Servicing, Legal, Compliance, and various internal departments.
• Lead and encourage team training, mentoring, supervision, team-building activities, and meetings.
• Oversee workflows, staffing levels, servicing tasks, reporting metrics, contractual commitments, and covenant monitoring.
• Examine portfolio trends and servicing metrics to pinpoint risks, opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
• Propel process enhancement initiatives, reinforce controls, and adopt best practices.
• Track watchlist assets, covenant adherence, maturity exposure, and other risk indicators.
• Facilitate and participate in monthly Watchlist meetings.
• Support special projects, system upgrades, process implementations, and departmental goals.
• Prepare and review management reports, portfolio overviews, and team performance metrics.
• Analyze and interpret property-level financial statements while training Asset Managers on complex assets.
• Understand servicing agreements, loan documents, cash management frameworks, Investor guidelines, PSA, TSA, and SSA stipulations.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and accurate client reporting calculations.
• Communicate reporting requirements to other departments and educate business units on servicing-system details.
• Develop investor reports, coordinate servicing tasks, revise policies and procedures, assist with audits and rating agency inquiries, lead Commercial team trainings, and create presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in CRE loan servicing is required.
• 1–2 years in a leadership role preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of the entire CRE loan life cycle from onboarding to Mortgage Satisfaction.
• Previous experience with CMBS, RMBS, SFR Portfolio loans, and/or CREFC reporting requirements is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, CoPilot, and other information processing software.
• Capability to perform complex calculations using calculators and systems.
• Ability to think critically and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficiency in managing sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Excellent communication skills, encompassing verbal, written, and listening capabilities.
• Strong customer service, professional relationship-building, conflict resolution, and skills in managing difficult conversations.
• Previous experience with the REALSynergy servicing system is considered advantageous.
• Must successfully complete the Company’s Background Screening process before starting employment.
• May be required to meet client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing prerequisites, if applicable.
