Value Based Operations Analyst Intern – Spring 2027

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Assist in the administration and analysis of value-based healthcare initiatives.

• Acquire practical experience with alternative reimbursement, payment, and billing systems.

• Aid in healthcare operations, data evaluation, reporting, and process enhancement.

• Collaborate with Value Based Operations analysts and business partners.

• Track program performance metrics.

• Reconcile billing and payment details.

• Generate reports.

• Contribute to operational projects aimed at enhancing value-based care programs.

• Support informed business decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior undergraduate, recent graduate, or graduate-level student in statistics, accounting, finance, mathematics, business administration, healthcare administration, computer science, or a related area.

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.5+ preferred).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel).

• Basic understanding of SQL.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Analytical mindset and professional presentation of concepts.

• Self-driven, flexible, and a team player.

• Capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

• Undergraduates and graduate students must be available to work 20 hours/week during Spring/Fall semesters and 30–35 hours/week during the summer.

• Preference for residents or those willing to relocate to Louisiana.

• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required after offer and before hiring.
