UX/UI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conceptualize and design desired outcomes in digital systems or products across various business sectors, aligning with business objectives and user requirements.

• Apply user-centered design methodologies and design thinking throughout the product development process.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Application Developers to uphold user experience standards and industry best practices.

• Investigate user-centered design ideas through brainstorming sessions, wireframes, and usability testing.

• Collect feedback from end-users to continuously enhance the customer experience.

• Create and evaluate functional and end-user requirements alongside the Application Development team.

• Ensure that the final aesthetic and functionality of digital systems or products align with end-user experience expectations.

• Comply with company risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls; identify issues that require escalation.

• Foster a diverse work environment that mirrors the Bank's brand.

• Uphold internal control standards and implement audit and regulatory recommendations.

• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

• Work alongside UX designers, researchers, content strategists, engineers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to tackle complex challenges and create intuitive, innovative products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of technical experience, including at least 3 years of professional experience in user interface, user experience, and/or interaction design; or, in the absence of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 5 years of technical experience, with a minimum of 3 years professional experience in user interface, user experience, and/or interaction design.

• Strong proficiency in relevant illustration, photo-editing, word processing, and presentation software.

• Solid project management skills and techniques.

• Exceptional presentation abilities.

• Excellent visualization skills.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with various multidisciplinary professional teams.

• Preferred: A Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, Design, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or User Experience.

• Preferred: Previous experience showcasing innovative thinking, appreciation for good design, and collaboration with stakeholders to achieve results.

• Preferred: Ability to navigate ambiguity and utilize design to clarify abstract concepts.

• Preferred: Expertise in software design, development, and prototyping methods and tools.

• Preferred: Knowledge of industry best practices for desktop, mobile, and web applications.

• Preferred: Background or work experience in the financial sector.

• Preferred: Proficiency in creating use cases, flow diagrams, prototypes, scenarios, and wireframes during product development.

• Preferred: Experience with accessibility standards, cross-platform challenges, mobile user interfaces, and systems-thinking.
