UX Researcher, Moderation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to design research projects that align with their needs, timelines, and business objectives.

• Implement research projects while ensuring adherence to robust research methodologies and thorough analysis.

• Facilitate in-depth interviews (IDIs) and focus groups, which includes preparing moderator guides and visual materials.

• Develop engaging Toplines, Scorecards, Executive Summaries, Final Reports, Slide Decks, and more.

• Assist clients throughout the research planning, execution, and delivery phases, including presenting research outcomes to Director- or VP-level stakeholders.

• Work in tandem with the Panel and Research Operations teams to maintain project timelines and ensure the integrity of collected data.

• Evaluate participant videos, transcripts, surveys, and additional study data to formulate research insights and recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a qualitative research position within a detail-focused research operations setting.

• At least 3 years of experience in moderating IDIs and focus groups, both remotely and in-person.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

• Proven expertise in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

• Strong experience in managing complex, multifaceted research projects.

• Familiarity with the complete research lifecycle, including various research methods and common analyses, particularly those related to UX.

• Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify patterns and anomalies in qualitative and/or quantitative data.

• Capability to convert qualitative insights into actionable recommendations and present them in persuasive reports.

• Confidence in presenting your own research and that conducted by others to senior stakeholders.

• A proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership, transparency, and detail orientation.

• High proficiency with emerging technologies and various software systems.

• Strong familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar tools.

• A collaborative spirit and ability to cultivate a positive work environment.

• Experience and ease in working within a team of researchers and alongside operations staff in a fast-paced, often uncertain environment.

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, research methods, human-computer interaction, sociology, or a related discipline.
