This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute research initiatives and create compelling narratives from insights that foster partner and team alignment around user-centric objectives.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product owners, product managers, and engineers to uncover prospects for future products and validate design concepts for product enhancement.
• Design, strategize, and carry out comprehensive research studies utilizing suitable qualitative and quantitative methodologies under the guidance of senior team members.
• Conduct and synthesize research projects, which include user interviews, usability testing sessions, surveys, card sorting, and contribute to A/B testing efforts.
• Transform research findings into clear, actionable insights and present recommendations to cross-functional teams.
• Analyze insights gathered from research sessions to pinpoint key opportunities and user requirements.
• Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with colleagues and managers.
• Monitor and evaluate user behavior metrics and usability benchmarks with assistance from senior researchers.
• Aid in the assessment and improvement of research methodologies.
• Support research operations such as participant recruitment, scheduling, and maintaining the research repository.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Social Science, Design Research, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in UX Research or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Expertise in qualitative research methods, including interviews, contextual inquiry, and observational studies.
• Proficient understanding of quantitative research methods, including survey design and basic statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with mixed-methods research techniques.
• Experience in evaluative research, including usability testing and heuristic evaluations.
• Exposure to generative and exploratory research strategies.
• Capability to implement research protocols and discussion guides.
• Experience in participant recruitment and screening processes.
• Knowledge of research ethics and informed consent procedures.
• Proven experience conducting research with diverse user demographics.
• A portfolio that highlights research projects, methodologies utilized, and measurable impacts on product outcomes.
