UX Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Strategize and assist in leading both qualitative and quantitative research within operational settings.

• Execute contextual inquiries, field studies, interviews, usability tests, surveys, ride-alongs, and diary studies with both frontline and expert users.

• Comprehend intricate business dynamics and resolve ambiguous issues.

• Convert research findings into actionable insights that inform product decisions.

• Enhance current products and services while fostering innovation priorities.

• Convey research outcomes and their implications to internal teams and partners.

• Create user-centered components and experience patterns that align with established design systems and accessibility standards.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, developers, and designers to harmonize user needs, business objectives, and implementation limitations.

• Contribute to the advancement and development of Carrier Digital's Design Research discipline.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in design or human-computer interaction (HCI).

• Over 5 years of experience in contributing to and delivering digital products across web and mobile platforms.

• Proven experience working collaboratively with designers, developers, and product managers.

• Must possess unrestricted authorization to work in the USA.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.

• Preferred: Experience in life sciences, cold chain, pharmaceutical logistics, or temperature-controlled supply chains.

• Preferred: Background in enterprise healthcare, medical device, or health IT sectors, or in a design consultancy with repeated projects in pharma, medical devices, or supply chains.

• Preferred: Comprehensive understanding of the full, iterative design process, including research journey mapping, content design, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and high-fidelity execution.

• Preferred: Familiarity with modern design, research, and AI tools such as Figma, Claude, and Maze.

• Preferred: A portfolio that showcases work samples, research processes, customer insights, and research-generated artifacts.

• Preferred: Experience designing for fulfillment, transportation, logistics visibility, alerts, dashboards, exception management, or other operational workflows.

• Preferred: Enthusiasm for IoT software, hardware, connected devices, and data processing.
