This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee Rapid Research studies from start to finish, providing insights within 1–2 weeks or through an expedited 1-week sprint.
• Advise on research methodologies and project scopes.
• Create kickoff and alignment documents as well as moderator guides.
• Facilitate remote and in-person interviews, manage unmoderated studies, and conduct heuristic evaluations.
• Perform literature reviews and competitive analyses as required.
• Provide end-of-day session summaries during the research fielding phase.
• Guide key takeaway alignment with stakeholders.
• Analyze results and produce final reports, including slide presentations or written documents with actionable insights.
• Present findings during stakeholder readouts.
• Establish trusted relationships with client stakeholders and offer consultative support.
• Collaborate with recruiting teams for participant screening and scheduling.
• Assist with Hindi-language studies and localization efforts for research specific to India.
• Manage multiple concurrent studies through preparation, fielding, and reporting phases.
• Suggest enhancements to internal processes and best practices.
• Contribute to AnswerLab's knowledge base and internal training programs.
• Take part in Custom Research initiatives like focus groups, diary studies, benchmarking, surveys, card sorting, contextual inquiry, and Critical User Journey audits.
• Work alongside UX Research colleagues in APAC, EMEA, and the US, as well as Research Managers and Project Managers.
• A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in conducting qualitative UX or market research, particularly in leading studies end-to-end.
• Native fluency in Hindi and business-level proficiency in English.
• Capability to moderate research sessions and produce deliverables in both Hindi and English.
• Experience working with clients and stakeholders in a consulting or agency setting, or a comparable research background.
• Proficient in working independently, managing competing priorities across simultaneous studies, and adhering to tight deadlines.
• Expertise in in-depth interviews, unmoderated studies, heuristic evaluations, literature reviews, and competitive analyses.
• Familiarity with focus groups, diary studies, benchmarking, surveys, card sorting, contextual inquiry, and Critical User Journeys is advantageous.
• Strong presentation abilities, including the creation of decks and delivering results and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
• Outstanding time management and prioritization capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable using online/remote research tools such as Google Meet, Zoom, dscout, and GSuite.
• Ability to collaborate across various time zones, with occasional flexibility in scheduling and extended hours.
• Capacity to work at a computer for prolonged periods.
• Current work authorization in India; AnswerLab is unable to sponsor visas.
• An undergraduate and/or advanced degree, preferably in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field with a foundation in research-based design.
• Flexible remote/home-based work arrangement.
• Up to 15% travel, including occasional in-person sessions at regional lab locations.
• Flexible scheduling to facilitate collaboration across APAC, EMEA, and US time zones.
