Senior User Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take charge of comprehensive research for one or more post-purchase product domains.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams.

• Determine high-priority research areas and carry out studies with minimal supervision.

• Create and conduct tailored primary research employing both qualitative and quantitative techniques.

• Organize and prioritize research agendas in uncertain, rapidly evolving environments.

• Align with stakeholders and effectively act on vital insights.

• Present findings and recommendations to product teams and leadership.

• Define and monitor the impact of research on product and business results.

• Report directly to the Manager of User Research.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on UX/user research experience.

• Expertise in both generative and evaluative research methodologies.

• Experience in SaaS and/or e-commerce is advantageous.

• Proven history of managing research for a product area with minimal guidance.

• Strong proficiency in various qualitative and quantitative research methods.

• Ability to consolidate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations, supported by a portfolio or work examples.

• Excellent storytelling and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in mentoring researchers and enhancing team standards.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote-first, distributed team environment.

• Proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred.
