📋 Description

• Shape and advance Pinterest’s product strategy by leveraging data and exploratory analysis to grasp user behaviors and trends, while pinpointing opportunities for product innovation.

• Utilize surveys to collect insights on sentiment and preferences from Pinners, Merchants, Creators, or Advertisers through effective survey methodologies and statistical/modeling techniques.

• Investigate the relationship between user attitudes and actions by integrating survey results with log analysis.

• Collaborate across teams to generate and share essential insights.

• Partner with product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers to enhance the future experiences on Pinterest.

• Design surveys, align attitudes with usage data, and convert complex findings into engaging narratives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an educational program pursuing a PhD in statistics, psychology, sociology, applied sciences, computer science, or a related discipline.

• Expected to obtain a PhD in statistics, psychology, sociology, applied sciences, computer science, or a relevant field by June 2027.

• Actively pursuing a PhD in statistics, psychology, sociology, applied sciences, computer science, or a related area.

• Familiarity with survey methodologies, including the development and analysis of survey data.

• Proven experience in descriptive, inferential, and multivariate statistics, as well as experimental design.

• Proficient in using Python, R, or SQL.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey a comprehensive narrative through data.

• Capacity to link data analysis to tangible business challenges to enhance business performance.
