This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Convert product and user experience requirements into scalable design system solutions.
• Advance reusable components, patterns, foundations, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions are scalable, technically aligned, accessible, globally inclusive, and easily adoptable.
• Assess product designs to identify opportunities for standardization and reusable system assets.
• Work together with UX, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Brand, and other cross-functional teams.
• Lead strategic initiatives for the design system and contribute to roadmap development.
• Advocate for design quality through accessibility assessments, implementation validation, and system stewardship.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers to ensure quality, parity, and maintainability.
• Contribute to the governance of the design system and establish standards.
• Promote adoption through consultation, education, documentation, and engagement with partners.
• Evaluate adoption metrics and enhance experiences for designers and developers.
• Guide designers and encourage collaboration, continuous learning, systems thinking, and design excellence.
• Manage Figma libraries, documentation, release communications, design reviews, and team processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields.
• 5–8+ years of experience in Product Design or UX Design.
• Over 3 years of dedicated experience in contributing to and enhancing enterprise design systems across various products or platforms.
• Portfolio showcasing scalable design patterns, systematic approaches to complex UI challenges, and cohesive accessible experiences across platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component architecture, variables, design tokens, Auto Layout, and scalable library management.
• In-depth understanding of accessibility standards and a strong commitment to inclusive design.
• Solid grasp of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, React, or similar.
• Experience with design-to-code workflows, including design specifications, Storybook, design quality assurance, implementation validation, and maintaining consistency between design and code.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• An online portfolio must accompany the resume/CV.
