This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Assist the Senior Manager of UX Research with the daily operations of the UXR program.
• Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Commercial Teams to create research plans that are in line with the product roadmap.
• Oversee stakeholder research intake requests and develop structured research plans.
• Organize and conduct evaluative research for both new and existing features.
• Plan and execute discovery research aimed at shaping the future product roadmap.
• Carry out qualitative customer interviews.
• Set up and oversee unmoderated user testing.
• Plan, manage, and analyze quantitative research, including surveys.
• Collect comprehensive insights across various Fanatics verticals.
• Manage the collection and reporting of longitudinal health metrics such as NPS and CSAT.
• Take ownership of research operations, including screening, recruiting, scheduling, methodology, tooling, synthesis, analysis, and dissemination of insights.
• Utilize various primary and secondary data sources for a comprehensive analysis.
• Distill findings into actionable insights and present them to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Champion research findings and advocate for the voice of the customer.
• Support participant management, data management, process documentation, research tool selection, and method standardization.
• Continue to enhance professional research skills and expertise.
• 2-4 years of experience in UX research, usability testing, or a similar field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of user-centered design principles and mixed methods research.
• Ability to synthesize insights and convey findings clearly and effectively.
• Strong time management skills to facilitate quick and regular reporting on customer insights.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams within a fast-paced product development setting.
• Familiarity with unmoderated interviewing tools, survey software, transcription applications, and video editing tools.
• Experience in integrating AI into everyday research tasks, from planning through synthesis and reporting.
• Business curiosity and the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions and drive revenue.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple research projects concurrently.
• Proven collaboration skills and comfort in fostering organizational connections.
• Skills in quantitative research methods, survey design, and data analysis (bonus).
• Background in human-computer interaction or user experience design (bonus).
• Experience within an agile product development environment (bonus).
