USA Representative, Bankruptcy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Manage all Bankruptcy accounts from start to finish.

• Adhere to federal, state, and district regulations, as well as established policies and procedures.

• Assess and confirm court documents, account information, and referrals to local legal counsel.

• Execute timely functional servicing related to Bankruptcy.

• Track court dockets for updates within bankruptcy cases.

• Check trustee websites for adherence to bankruptcy plans.

• Forward litigation requests to the SC litigation team for submission to external counsel.

• Record all account activities in the official system.

• Ensure compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Bankruptcy Code.

• Raise any identified risk issues to the manager.

• Prepare Proof of Claim documentation for further review.

• Redact servicing documents, including titles and contracts.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience (mandatory).

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent demonstrated through a mix of work experience, training, military service, or education (preferred).

• 0+ years of experience in Bankruptcy or a related field (preferred).

• Ability to ensure confidentiality at all times.

• Capability to initiate the collections process and communicate in an assertive, empathetic, respectful, and effective manner.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Basic understanding of regulations and collection policies and procedures.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to comprehend collection laws.

• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and familiarity with collections software and programs.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to begin employment.
