Charge Off Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct daily skip trace operations on delinquent accounts assigned by management.

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls related to collections.

• Achieve daily and monthly targets for collections, repossessions, and skip tracing as set by management.

• Keep clear and detailed account notes and updates.

• Prepare delinquent accounts for repossession activities.

• Review accounts that have been referred for repossession in relation to legal actions against debtors.

• Provide written and verbal instructions to customers and/or repossession vendors.

• Ensure adherence to Collection Standard of Conduct policies.

• Perform various administrative tasks as required.

• Manage a portfolio of accounts on a daily basis.

• Communicate with repossession vendors to ensure accounts are processed accurately and efficiently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over three years of experience in skip trace collections within a call center setting.

• Experience in auto collections is highly preferred.

• Previous background in skip tracing and collections, ideally in the automotive sector.

• Exceptional customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

• A strong level of integrity.

• A robust sense of teamwork while also being capable of working independently.

• Highly self-motivated to surpass goals.
