
Urology Account Manager, Anti-Infectives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Facilitate optimal product adoption within targeted urology accounts, such as significant urology group practices, hospital-affiliated urology practices, and other high-potential specialty accounts.
• Collaborate with urologists, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), practice administrators, clinical staff, and other office stakeholders to enhance patient identification, treatment selection, practice workflow, and proper product utilization.
• Achieve or surpass sales performance targets in the designated territory.
• Formulate, implement, and execute a comprehensive territory business plan.
• Provide scientific and clinical insights on the disease state and the approved product.
• Conduct compliant brand sales presentations for physicians, APPs, medical personnel, and clinic staff.
• Optimize customer engagement through effective resource management.
• Work collaboratively with Organized Provider Account Directors, Reimbursement Managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Convert formulary successes and market access achievements into prescribing and utilization outcomes.
• Educate clients on patient eligibility, treatment choices, and clinical justifications for hospital avoidance.
• Identify and resolve clinical, operational, behavioral, and procedural obstacles to product adoption.
• Strategize activities to meet call metrics while maximizing customer coverage and frequency.
• Enhance product and account knowledge while keeping abreast of market trends.
• Analyze utilization patterns, customer insights, and local market conditions.
• Organize educational programs, in-services, speaker events, and compliant scientific discussions.
• Share best practices with fellow sales professionals.
• Provide input on marketing strategies and develop territory plans alongside the Regional Sales Director, brand team, and support partners.
• Oversee the territory budget.
• Fulfill administrative responsibilities and implement the company’s brand strategy within the assigned geographic area.
• Engage in training and development initiatives.
• Uphold compliance with corporate and industry policies and procedures.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid driver's license.
• Over 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical, or biotech sectors.
• More than 2 years of experience in practice group account management.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory, including overnight stays.
• Capability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• Proven track record of top-tier sales performance and successful product launches.
• Demonstrated ability to drive demand generation within large group accounts.
• Experience in urology sales is strongly preferred.
• Anti-Infective experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in account selling and managing complex sales processes.
• In-depth understanding of the group practice business model, organizational structure, and key stakeholder roles.
• Strong grasp of group practice account decision-making processes, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.
• Experience working collaboratively across community and hospital care settings.
• Ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Skill in analyzing data and trends to formulate actionable business plans.
• Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing market conditions.
• Proven ability to comply with regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
• Exceptional presentation and selling abilities, complemented by strong business acumen.
