
Urology Account Manager, Anti-Infectives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Drive effective product adoption across targeted urology accounts, which include large urology group practices, hospital-affiliated urology practices, and other high-potential specialty accounts.
• Engage with urologists, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), practice administrators, clinical staff, and other key stakeholders to facilitate patient identification, treatment selection, practice workflow, and appropriate product usage.
• Meet or surpass sales performance targets within the assigned territory.
• Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive territory business plan.
• Provide scientific and clinical information regarding the disease state and approved product area.
• Deliver clinically branded sales presentations to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and clinic personnel utilizing the customer engagement selling model.
• Manage resources effectively to enhance customer engagement.
• Collaborate with Organized Provider Account Directors, Reimbursement Managers, and other cross-functional partners.
• Translate formulary successes and market access achievements into consistent prescribing and product utilization.
• Educate customers on patient eligibility, treatment selection, and the clinical rationale for avoiding hospital admissions.
• Identify and address clinical, operational, behavioral, and process-related obstacles to product adoption.
• Plan activities to achieve call metrics while optimizing coverage and frequency with key customers.
• Develop product and account knowledge while monitoring local and regional market trends.
• Analyze utilization trends, customer insights, and local market dynamics to pinpoint opportunities.
• Conduct educational programs, in-services, speaker events, and compliant scientific discussions.
• Share best practices and strategies with fellow sales peers.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategies and evaluate sales activity and territory performance.
• Develop territory plans in conjunction with the Regional Sales Director, brand team, and support partners.
• Manage the territory budget efficiently.
• Complete administrative tasks and execute company brand strategies and tactics.
• Participate in training and development initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with corporate and industry policies and procedures.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid driver's license.
• 4+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical, or biotech sectors.
• 2+ years of experience in practice group account management.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the designated geography, including overnight trips.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• Proven track record of top-tier sales performance and successful product launches.
• Demonstrated success in driving demand generation within large group accounts.
• Urology sales experience is highly preferred.
• Anti-infective experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in account selling and managing complex sales processes.
• Extensive knowledge of the group practice business model, organizational structure, and key stakeholder roles.
• Strong understanding of group practice account decision-making processes, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.
• Experience in collaborating across community and hospital care settings.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Capability to analyze data and trends to develop actionable business plans.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing market conditions.
• Proven ability to comply with regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
• Exceptional presentation and selling skills, paired with strong business acumen.
