
Urology Account Manager, Anti-Infectives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Drive effective product adoption within targeted urology accounts.
• Engage with urologists, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), practice administrators, clinical staff, and other office stakeholders.
• Assist in identifying patients, selecting treatments, managing practice workflows, and ensuring appropriate product use.
• Achieve or surpass sales performance targets within the designated territory.
• Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive territory business plan.
• Provide scientific and clinical insights regarding the disease state and approved products.
• Deliver clinically branded sales presentations to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and clinic personnel.
• Utilize and manage resources effectively to enhance customer engagement.
• Collaborate with Organized Provider Account Directors, Reimbursement Managers, and various cross-functional stakeholders.
• Translate formulary victories and market access successes into prescribing and product utilization.
• Educate customers on patient eligibility, treatment options, and clinical justifications.
• Identify and resolve barriers to product adoption.
• Plan activities to meet call metrics and optimize customer coverage and frequency.
• Cultivate product and account knowledge while monitoring market trends.
• Analyze utilization patterns, customer insights, and local market dynamics.
• Conduct educational programs, in-services, speaker engagements, and compliant scientific discussions.
• Share successful strategies with sales colleagues.
• Provide insights on marketing strategies and territory performance.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director, brand team, and support partners to develop territory plans.
• Oversee the territory budget.
• Complete administrative responsibilities and implement brand strategy within the assigned geography.
• Engage in training and development programs.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and industry policies and procedures.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid driver's license.
• Over 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical, or biotech industry.
• More than 2 years of experience in practice group account management.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned geography, including overnight trips.
• Ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Experience in urology sales is highly preferred.
• Background in anti-infectives is preferred.
• Proficiency in account selling and managing intricate sales processes.
• Extensive knowledge of group practice business models, organizational structures, and key stakeholder roles.
• Strong understanding of group practice decision-making processes, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.
• Experience working collaboratively across community and hospital care environments.
• Capacity to operate effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to analyze data and trends to formulate actionable business plans.
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving market conditions.
• Proven ability to comply with all regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
• Outstanding presentation and selling skills, along with strong business acumen.
