Unpaid Internship – Software Test, QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive UI test automation for the Occibo web application.

• Create test plans, test cases, and regression suites for essential user workflows.

• Convert product requirements into automated validations, including edge cases.

• Work alongside the development team to establish test data strategies and reliable selectors.

• Execute tests in CI, monitor failures, and assist in maintaining the reliability of the test suite.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance the speed of test creation, analysis, and upkeep.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with at least one test automation framework (preferably Playwright or Cypress).

• Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript and experienced with Git.

• Knowledge of CI pipelines and principles of dependable test design.

• Enthusiasm for AI and experience with AI tools.

• Proficient in English.

• Candidates must be available to begin in October 2026.

• Internship is a prerequisite as part of your academic program.
