Intermediate Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the quality and reliability of POS solutions through hands-on manual testing and close collaboration with global teams and stakeholders.

• Execute manual testing of POS applications across web, Windows, Android, and iOS platforms.

• Perform REST API testing and validate system integrations.

• Verify new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure reliable performance.

• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

• Create, maintain, and update test cases, test plans, and other QA documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality throughout the entire SDLC.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience in software testing focused on manual testing.

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC/STLC.

• Hands-on experience testing web applications.

• Practical experience with REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Experience creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and documentation.

• Strong understanding of defect management, bug life cycle, and bug types.

• Hands-on experience with Jira.

• Intermediate+ English level for daily communication with global teams and stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Team-oriented mindset and experience working closely with in-office, cross-functional teams.

• Experience testing mobile applications (Android/iOS) is desirable.

• Experience testing POS systems and hardware peripherals is desirable.

• Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or POS industry is desirable.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Kanban, is desirable.
