Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and continually enhance a scalable test automation framework.

• Develop, sustain, and execute automated testing based on both functional and technical specifications.

• Create and uphold test scripts while integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows.

• Analyze and assess test outcomes, prepare technical documentation, and assist with test records.

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD infrastructure for automated setup, test execution, and deployment processes.

• Manage and further develop testing and integration environments throughout all development and testing phases.

• Implement monitoring, statistics, and reporting tools for quality assurance and performance tracking.

• Oversee and maintain version control systems while assisting with release management activities.

• Ensure system availability, data backup, and recovery capabilities in testing environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in test automation and familiarity with modern CI/CD tools (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins, SonarQube).

• Proficient in contemporary test automation tools, such as TestRail.

• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or C#, along with experience in using test frameworks and API/UI testing tools.

• Experience with containerization and virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, VMware).

• Practical experience in constructing and maintaining build and test infrastructures.

• Understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working within interdisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with or initial practical experience in AI/ML integration is preferred.
